OUR MINISTRIES
SUNDAY SCHOOL
We have Sunday School classes for Children and teens of all ages. We have a class for 4 yr olds through the 2nd grade. We have a class for the 3rd grade through the 5th grade, and we have a teen class for the 6th grade through the 12th grade.
NURSERY
We have a nursery equipped to lovingly handle your little ones during the Sunday School hour and our main services as well. You will find it to be kept clean and in neat order.
THE AUDITORIUM BIBLE CLASS
The auditorium Bible class is for all adults over 18. We would love to add some adult classes but we are currently out of space.
Each week during our morning service, we also have children's church for those ages 3-11. Our children's service is equipped with a great program for the kids. It is complete with Bible songs, scripture memory time, a puppet skit, an activity sheet, and a great Bible lesson. They will leave out of here learning the Bible and having a good time with their teachers and friends. Each week, there will be qualified teachers to instruct and look after the children while the main service is going on in the auditorium.
The Bus Ministry
Hampton Road Baptist Church offers transportation through our bus ministry. Currently we are just running one van but we anticipate this ministry growing in the future. If you would like a ride to church please give me a call to schedule a visit and a ride at 901-831-7046. We would love the opportunity to minister to you in this area of our church.
SOULWINNING
On the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month, our church meets to go out into the community and spread the Gospel message. This door to door evangelism is known as Soul Winning. We believe that the church should not only be evangelistic in sharing the Gospel inside the church house, but we must also take the gospel around the world. This is our primary duty as a child of God. The men meet at 10:30 for a prayer meeting and then the rest of us meet at 11:00 in the church auditorium. God always blesses the church that obeys his word in this matter of sharing the Gospel message. If you are not currently involved in this ministry, please plan to take the time to check it out sometime in the near future. We can use all of the help that we can get. May we always remember that there is a mighty "Go" in the Gospel. Many have not heard and will not hear the greatest story ever told if we do not do our part to reach this world for Christ.
